Three people, including a Kenyan citizen being held by police in Kilimanjaro-Tanzania after drug arrests and a variety of Qat 45 kg and 4,500 pieces of Marijuana which have been transported from Kenya to Arusha Region.
Regional Police Commander Kilimanjaro Mr.Wilbrod Mutafungwa said the suspects were arrested in the ramp Himo district of Moshi and Sanya on Siha district as they hide the drugs of abuse on their bodies from the stomach up to six feet.
He names arrested is Vitalis Victor businessman in Arusha, Naftal Mvoyi resident of Voi in Kenya, Maulid Maulis resident of Arusha who were transported Qat 54 kg, using print and glue the paper and then cover it with the clothes they were wearing, coming out in Kenya towards the city of Arusha.
Reporter has successfully negotiated with some of the youth involved in drug
use in the municipality of Moshi and explain that the biggest challenge
is unemployment which lead them to be involve with criminal cases.
Use of the drug has affected many young healthy due to their failure to
do some development work and were forced to get involved with cases of
theft in various locations in the country.
